The building was expanded with a hotel extension in the south in the 19th century. In the end the north part of the building was used as a restaurant with the name &#8216;Kutscherstube&#8217; while the south part was used as a Kulturhaus. In 1970 the hotel was used as a recreation home for the school &#8216;Otto von Guericke Magdeburg&#8217;. Since the 90s the hotel was abandoned while the restaurant part of it was still in use.
