It produced several decorative porcelain products as well as kitchen utensils. In 1972 it was renamed to &#8216;VEB Gebrauchsporzellan Gr\u00e4fenthal&#8217; but was incorporated in &#8216;VEB Porzellanfigurenwerk Gr\u00e4fenthal&#8217; in 1976, along with other porcelain manufactures from the city. It closed down sometime in the 1990s.
