Not much information can be found about this place. By the looks of the building, it was constructed during the time of the GDR, probably in the 1970s. It was used to produce heat for the Mölmen district in Wutha. It was connected over a heating transmission line to Seebach. The heating plant was closed in 2015 and its surroundings seem to be used by an agricultural business.
