The mill ‘Magdeburger Hafenmühle Hermann Bergmann’ was founded in 1908. Since then it produced rye and wheat flour. In the GDR it was renmaned in ‘Werk 2’ of the VEB Magdeburger Mühlenwerke. The mill simultaneously closed down with the end of the GDR and remained abandoned till today.
