Capturing decay.

Swimming Pool Sonnenbad

This swimming pool was built sometime before the First World War, with the intention of creating a place to bath while being surrounded by fresh air and the sun. Guests especially liked the surrounding nature and the intimate feeling of being in a garden. It remained in operation until the dissolution of the GDR, after which it was abandoned, due to the unprofitable operating costs associated with it. Nowadays it is long forgotten and overgrown, which makes it quite hard to spot, even for locals.
