The hospital ‘Stadtkrankenhaus Gotha’ was founded in 1878 and operated till the year 2002 when it was replaced by a new facility. Everything but the main building was demolished in 2022 including many rooms which can be seen in the pictures. There are plans to build new houses on the property.
